A common phrase these days seems to be "It's time for a change!"
Well, quite possibly you might want to consider that as a summons. Not a
legal summons, of course, so let's replace that word with the word
'invitation.' You're invited to a change. A change in the type of music
you've been putting into your machine. Truly, spirits beckon you to get
involved with the music of ONE WORLD. If that's a new name to you, you
obviously haven't been listening to KTWV, "The Wave." So let's
continue with this invitation to get acquainted with something new.
Perhaps
the instrumentation will whet your appetite. There are key- boards and
guitars, drums and bass. But that doesn't complete the rhythm section.
Let's add timbales congas and bongos.

In front of this spiced up rhythm
section you'll hear some saxophone sounds, a trumpet and trombone in the
brass department, and the synthesizer programming being handled
dramatically. When the occasion calls for it - you'll enjoy some FINE
vocal sounds AS well.
It's
a gathering of tempos, rhythms, and sounds. It is, through music, the
feeling of freedom, of happiness.

Again, quoting from the CD, "One World's unique vision is a true
blending of melodies and rhythms from the Caribbean to Africa, and beyond.
Touching the soul with honesty and beauty, theirs is a music born of
dedication and love. If I told you I'd place this in the jazz meet Frank
Unzueta, the producer of the album as well as the 'key' person on guitar,
keyboards and lead vocals. To quote Frank from the liner notes of the CD:
Our music is a celebration of the people and cultures of Mother Earth. We
must work together, fn love and peace, to preserve our beloved and fragile
planet; for we are all truly one heart, one mind, one love...One World The
music contained on the Sun- stone Recordings (SS 3053 CD) reflects the
groups universal approach to music.
